Location

The three star hotel -Hotel Wollner- was opened in August 2000 in the historic downtown of Sopron. The hotel is an authentic reconstruction of a 300-year old building of Baroque style. Its furnishing and the whole atmosphere is reminiscent of the elegance of the middle class from the last century. The hotel is situated next to the theatre and in the year 2002 new opened conference centre and the Casino of Sopron .

The hotel has 13 double rooms and 5 apartment-type rooms with 3 beds. In the rooms there is wall-to-wall carpet covering, with elegant furnishing in the style of the last century.

All rooms are equipped with a bathroom, with built-in hairdryer. The rooms are also equipped with radio, TV-set (with 52 channels), telephone, Internet access and mini-bar. All our rooms belong to the non-smoking category.

Other services

The elegant, vaulted restaurant of the hotel can accommodate 40 persons.In the cellar of the hotel that is more than 300 years old there is a romantic wine-house. In this cellar, that can accommodate 55 persons, we offer the very best of wines from the Sopron and Tokaj regions. The vaulted conference room furnished in the style of the last century can accommodate 20-25 persons. The facilities of the fitness room are the following: a Finnish sauna for 6 persons, a shower, a multi-functional plate-weight fitness equipment, fitness bikes - both magnetic and elliptic types. The masseur of the hotel is available for all our guests. In the summer season we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in the pleasantly cool, Baroque-style inner yard of the hotel.On the first floor of the hotel an exit leads to a fortress from the Roman age, which today is a wonderful hanging garden. Here you can see a part of the medieval city-wall, as well. In this peaceful hanging garden with pleasant climate our guests can relax and sunbathe, while children can also play here. The atmosphere is further enhanced by a small garden pond with goldfishes, a fountain and a special evening flood-light.
